What is the legal age for smoking Hookah at a bar in California?

How old do you have to be in California to smoke hookah at a hookah bar. Me and my friends wanna go! Please help!
Because I’m 15 and I’ve heard that the legal age is either 14 or 16. I’m SURE you can do it by 16, but can I do it at 15? I would like an educated answer.

I suppose 18 to smoke any tobacco product, 21 if they serve alcohol without food service. And these are educated answers. It is illegal for someone under 18 to smoke or possess any tobacco product.

And the tobacco company executives are rejoicing another victim thinking its cool to smoke.

  2. The minimum legal age in the majority of Hookah bars/lounges is 18, 21 if alcohol is served. However, it does depend on the establishment. A few allow minors as young as 14 to smoke herbal hookah, (non-tabacco.) However, you must be 18 to purchase hookah tobacco or washed-tobacco products.) You’ll just have to do some local inquiring.

  3. Hookah is tobacco. Legal age for all tobacco products in the U.S. Is 18yrs. It just tastes like you’re inhaling air because the tobacco is roasted instead of burned like in cigarettes. So, you’re gonna have to wait til you’re 18. Sorry.

  4. It’s 18 just like cigarettes.
